Bumper b'day for celeb kids

Yatching around Cannes, playing Harry Potter at Hogwarts and partying all month long – that’s a celebrity baby’s birthday
Bumper b'day for celeb kids
When you’re a celebrity baby and it’s your birthday party, there is no putting that full stop. This year, stepping it up is none other than Tom Cruise’s darling Suri Cruise.
Over the course of her five-year existence, this fashionista’s making sure that Hollywood takes her seriously. And what better way to affirm dominance in celeb world than throw the ‘it’ bash.
1x1 polls
Suri, famous for throwing a $100,000-worth second birthday party, had a whole birthday month! Yes, to the normal layman it’s a whole month of celebrations. “Suri’s really helped to plan her party... She picks out the things and we make the cake together,” said mommy Katie Holmes. Being young never stopped Suri from planning her glam dos. She’s had a cupcake party modelled on the English tea-party tradition, complete with treasure hunting. Her second butterfly themed birthday had each of her guests eating a special personalised cake.
But next year, heir to the Beckham dynasty, Brooklyn might be beating Suri at her own game. He’s having his 13th birthday bash at every child’s dream place – Hogwarts castle, the temple of magical learning. Remember the green Hogwarts ground where, for the first time, Harry got on that broom to fetch Neville’s remembrall, and in turn became one of the youngest Seekers – that’s Alnwick Castle. According to reports, daddy David wants his son and his pals to have free reign over the castle grounds to make his firstborn’s birthday super magical.
Joining the ‘it’ birthday brigade is Kingston Rossdale – son of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale. Kingston, who has been experimenting with fashion since he could barely walk, spent a lazy birthday yatching around Cannes. This sounds tamer coming from this rockstar who had a $15,000 party last year, where he and his pals pranced about in superhero costumes, savouring cotton candies.
The Jolie-Pitts are a family-with-a-difference, who don’t believe in senseless splurging, well not in public. So, this year they went to the theatres to watch the musical – “Wicked” for Maddox’s birthday. Quite frugal as compared to other celeb bashes? But Angelina sure knows how to keep above the superficial lot, doesn’t she? All said and done, don’t you wish you’d been born into celebrity inheritance?
